Bethel Acres, OK - Box Truck Driver Dies in Rollover on OK-9

Bethel Acres, OK (October 4, 2024) - A passenger was injured after a fatal rollover crash involving a box truck outside of Bethel Acres on Friday, October 4. The deadly collision took place on OK-9 near Bethel Road early that morning. Local reports indicated that a box truck ran off the road where it hit a mail box, before over-correcting, re-entering the road, and rolling. 

Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary support. The driver of the truck suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. At this time, no other information on the deadly crash is currently available. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked to clear the scene.
