Duke, OK - Several Killed in Crash at US-62 & CR 194

Duke, OK (February 7, 2025) - On Thursday, February 6, multiple people were killed after a car accident outside of Duke. The deadly crash took place on US-62 near S. County Road 194 at around 4 p.m. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. It was later reported that 36-year-old Landreth Emswiler of Mountain Park was pronounced dead at the scene, along with two juvenile girls. An eight-year-old boy was transported by survival flight to a Wichita Falls hospital in critical condition. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle have yet to be identified. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No additional information on the incident is currently available.
