Durant, OK (October 17, 2024) - A two-vehicle crash in Bryan County outside of Durant on Wednesday, October 16, resulted in fatal injuries. The accident took place on US-70 near Leavenworth Trail early that morning around 11:30 a.m. Local reports revealed that a motorcycle and another vehicle collided at the scene.
The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. It was later revealed that one of the vehicles entered the intersection and pulled out from a stop sign as it collided with an eastbound car. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. At least one person involved sustained fatal injuries in the crash. It’s unknown if anyone else was hurt at this time.
