Eufaula, OK (February 23, 2025) - On Saturday, February 22, one person was killed and another injured following a car crash outside of Eufaula. The fatal accident took place at the intersection of Highway 9 and Bower Road early that morning at around 2 a.m. It was later revealed that 44-year-old Holly Jordan of McAleister was driving a car on the highway when she crashed.
Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving aid from attending responding paramedics, Jordan sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 43-year-old passenger was also hurt and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for the treatment of head and body injuries. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities worked the scene. No further information on the incident is currently available. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
