Fletcher, OK (January 15, 2025) - On Tuesday, January 14, a driver was killed after a car accident in the Fletcher area. The fatal crash took place on the HE Bailey Turnpike that afternoon. Local reports revealed that two vehicles were involved in the impact.
It was later determined that 73-year-old Janell Lamb was driving a 2017 Ford Taurus when she collided with a 2012 Ford Fiesta driven by 40-year-old Jennifer Collier. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary medical aid to the involved parties. Lamb was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. Despite life-saving aid from attending officials, Collier suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked the scene. No further information on the fatal accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
