Jay, OK - Several Hurt in Deadly Head-on Crash on OK-20

Jay, OK (February 16, 2025) - On Saturday, February 15, one person was killed and several others injured after a car accident outside of Jay. The fatal crash took place on OK-20 near E. 370 Road at around 5:14 p.m. Local reports revealed that William Douglas was driving a pickup truck headed northbound on the highway when he crossed the center line and entered southbound traffic. 

The pickup crashed head-on with a southbound vehicle. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to assist the involved parties. Despite life-saving aid from attending medical personnel, Douglas suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the pickup was hospitalized by ambulance for the treatment of sustained injuries. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were also hurt and hospitalized. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
