Intersection Crashes in Oklahoma

Kingfisher, OK - Injuries in Deadly Collision near Mercy HospitalTraveling through an intersection is something that most of us do every single day. Despite how common these areas are on the road, they can be incredibly dangerous. Statistics show that almost half of injury collisions and 20 percent of traffic fatalities take place at intersections. Many drivers nationwide engage in reckless behaviors like running red lights and stop signs. When a motorist fails to yield the right of way, a serious collision is much more likely. Nearly one-third of stop-sign crashes end in injury.
