Mannford, OK (September 7, 2024) - One person was killed and several others injured after a car accident outside of Mannford on Friday, September 6. The deadly crash occurred late that night around 8:30 p.m. on OK-48 Highway. Local reports revealed that 37-year-old Adam Stephenson was driving a Jeep when he collided with another vehicle.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. Despite life-saving measures from attending medical personnel, Stephenson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Jeep was also hurt and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Three juveniles in the other vehicle were injured and treated at the scene. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
