Maysville, OK (September 12, 2024) - On Wednesday, September 11, three people were hurt after a pipeline explosion in the Maysville area. The incident took place at the Enerfin Resources pipeline substation early that morning around 8:45 a.m. Emergency responders from more than four nearby towns were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties.
Three people were located at the scene and transported to Oklahoma City area hospitals for the treatment of serious burns. The victims found at the scene were the only ones present at the site at the time of the incident. The affected area was roughly a hundred yards in diameter, and some vehicles and a nearby trailer house were also impacted. No one was inside the home at the time. Two victims were later identified as Roy Milligan and Wade Lambert. Miller reportedly sustained burns to 61 percent of his body. He is currently on a ventilator and is expected to be at the hospital for 60 days. Lambert suffered burns to 41 percent of his body and will require multiple surgeries. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the explosion is in progress.
