Muskogee, OK (September 5, 2024) - A man driving a tractor was killed after being struck by a commercial truck in the Muskogee area on Wednesday, September 4. The collision took place on US-64 near E. 93rd Street. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties.
Local reports indicated that a tractor on the highway was hit by the truck. The man driving the tractor, Brent Eller, suffered fatal injuries in the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the truck were not seriously hurt by the impact. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
