Oklahoma City, OK - Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on John Kilpatrick Tpke

Oklahoma City, OK (November 18, 2024) - A two-vehicle crash in the Oklahoma City area on Sunday, November 17, resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The deadly collision took place on John Kilpatrick Turnpike near Britton Road early that morning around 3:30 a.m. Local reports revealed that a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The cause of the crash has not yet been provided. The motorcyclist, later identified as 27-year-old James Scott Rowlett, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No updates on the collision are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
