When drivers are comfortable with their surroundings, they are more likely to bend or break the rules of the road. Speeding is unfortunately commonplace in Oklahoma, and many drivers in the state are known to engage in this reckless behavior. In the past 20 years, speeding has been a factor in nearly one-third of reported traffic fatalities nationwide. More than 10,000 people are killed annually in high-speed collisions, with an estimated 33 people dying every day. When you speed, you are more likely to lose control of your car and cause life-changing auto accidents. If you or someone close to you is unfairly hurt by the actions of a reckless driver, you need to be ready to pursue a strong claim for recovery by working closely with a trained team of lawyers.
