Oklahoma City, OK (February 13, 2025) - On Wednesday, February 12, a passenger was killed after a single-vehicle crash in the Oklahoma City area. The fatal accident took place on Interstate 40 near Peebly Road and the Kickapoo Turnpike late that night. Local reports revealed that two people were traveling in a Ford Explorer Sport Trac pickup truck when it slid off the interstate and into the water.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The occupants of the car were rescued by attending officials. Both parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The passenger, a 44-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead.
