A wrong-way crash can be devastating. Drivers who travel in the wrong direction become an active threat to everyone on the road. In most cases, some level of intoxication is involved in these types of crashes. These motorists are at risk of causing head-on impacts, and these are some of the deadliest on American roads. Despite making up less than two percent of reported auto accidents, head-on crashes contribute to more than 10 percent of national roadway fatalities. It can be hard to get back on your feet after a deadly crash.
