Oklahoma City, OK - Woman Dies in Semi-Truck Crash on I-44

Oklahoma City, OK (February 3, 2025) - On Monday, February 3, a woman was killed after a two-vehicle crash in Oklahoma City. The deadly accident took place on Interstate 44 NB near NW 36th Street early that morning around 12:45 a.m. Local reports revealed that a Toyota Corolla and a semi-trailer collided at the scene. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving aid from attending medical personnel, the woman driving the Toyota sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The deceased victim was later identified as 27-year-old Cortney Croney of Newalla. No other injuries were reported in the accident. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. Police are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
