It is still unknown who was operating the vehicle at the time of the incident. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
It's fun for a lot of people in Oklahoma to ride a UTV for fun and relaxation. It is too bad that these vehicles can go very fast and do not offer much safety for the person riding them. Young adults and children are most likely to die in UTV crashes. There are more than 1,500 deaths and more than 100,000 injuries every year that are bad enough that they need medical care. Too often, deadly UTV accidents happen because the driver is drunk or not wearing a helmet.
