Orlando, OK (August 30, 2024) - A passenger will killed after a single-vehicle accident outside of Orlando on Thursday, August 29. The fatal crash occurred on Interstate 135 early that morning around 6:20 a.m. Local reports revealed that a 51-year-old Newton woman was driving a 2022 Kia Soul with two passengers the car crashed while traveling on the highway.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. A 17-year-old Newton male was killed in the crash. The driver and a 56-year-old passenger from Newton were flown to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City in critical condition. Another passenger, a 13-year-old from Newton, was transported to a hospital in Stillwater for treatment. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. Nevertheless, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
