Osage, OK (November 15, 2024) - On Thursday, November 15, a 19-year-old man was killed after being hit by a commercial truck outside of Osage. The deadly accident took place on OK-99 early that morning. It was later revealed that William Greene was driving a truck when he was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the highway.
The truck was stopped on the road when it and Greene were hit by an oncoming Peterbilt tractor-trailer. The victim and his vehicle came to a stop down the road, and the trailer came to rest further down the road. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene. Despite life-saving aid, Greene suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
