Pauls Valley, OK (October 5, 2024) - On Friday, October 4, two people were killed and others injured after a head-on collision in the area of Pauls Valley. The fatal accident took place on US-77 near County Road 1550 that night around 10 p.m. Local reports revealed that a car was headed south when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle with four occupants.
Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. The driver of the other vehicle, 39-year-old Christopher Pierri, and a 15-year-old passenger suffered fatal injuries in the impact and were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other teenage females in the vehicle were transported to a hospital by ambulance for treatment of sustained injuries. The driver of the car that crossed the center line was the sole occupant. He was pinned inside the car for nearly 30 minutes before being extricated and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. No updates on the deadly accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
