Perkins, OK (December 12, 2024) – Two people were killed and another hurt after an auto accident in the Perkins area on Wednesday, December 11. The deadly crash took place on OK-33 near Range Road at around 4:15 p.m. Local reports revealed that a Nissan Juke was traveling east on the highway when it crossed the center line and hit a box truck and then a Mitsubishi Outlander.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The drivers of the Nissan and Mitsubishi sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was later identified as 19-year-old Kiowa Tate of Cushing, and the other driver was identified as 36-year-old Tuseef Cheema of Edmond. A passenger in the Nissan was transported to a Stillwater hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The driver of the box truck was not hurt in the crash. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be revealed as it continues.
