Tulsa, OK (December 18, 2024) - One person was killed and two others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in the Tulsa area on Sunday, December 15. The deadly accident took place on Highway 11 north of Interstate 244. Three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. It was reported that a GMC pickup truck towing a trailer of furniture pulled over to the side of the road due to a flat tire. The pickup was followed by another vehicle that was towing a third pickup. All three vehicles were stopped on the side of the road at the time of the crash. One of the drivers, Heriberto Vasquez-Castro, was pinned in the crash and later pronounced dead at the scene. Two other individuals were hospitalized for treatment. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
