Tulsa, OK (November 17, 2024) - One person was killed and another injured after a motorcycle accident in the Tulsa area on Saturday, November 16. The fatal accident took place on US-169 near 56th Street North. late that night around 7 p.m. Local reports revealed that the victims were traveling on a motorcycle traveling northbound when the rear tire blew.
This caused the operator, 60-year-old Harold Butler, to lose control of the bike and crash. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Butler sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger on the bike was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
