Tulsa, OK - Woman Dies in Collision with Charter Bus on I-244

Tulsa, OK (March 10, 2025) - A woman was killed after a crash involving a charter bus in the Tulsa area on Sunday, March 9. The fatal accident was reported on Interstate 244 EB near N. Memorial Drive late that night at around 11:40 p.m. A 39-year-old woman was driving a car when she was involved in a crash with a charter bus carrying 37 people from Iowa. 

The circumstances leading to the crash were not provided in the initial reports. Emergency personnel were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving support, the driver, later identified as Kristen Pratt from Sand Springs, was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the occupants of the charter bus were hurt in the impact. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. No additional updates on the incident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
