Tushka, OK (April 4, 2025) - On Thursday, April 3, two women were killed after a multi-vehicle collision in the Tushka area. The deadly accident took place in Atoka County on US-69 early that morning. It was reported that three people were traveling north in a Jeep Compass when the vehicle hydroplaned and entered southbound traffic.
The Jeep was hit by a Subaru Outback, and then a third vehicle hit the Subaru. Two other vehicles traveling southbound were also involved in the impact. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The driver of the Jeep, later identified as 18-year-old Brinlee Farris from Wylie, TX, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, along with a passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Hannah Zebraski from Aubrey, TX. Both parties were ejected from the vehicle. A third passenger, a 16-year-old from Richland Hills, TX, was hurt and rushed to a medical center in Plano, TX in serious condition. The driver of the Subaru, a 63-year-old woman from Atoka, was also seriously hurt and hospitalized for treatment. No further information on the incident is currently available. Nonetheless, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
