Zaneis, OK (November 19, 2024) - One person was killed and four others were injured after a two-vehicle crash outside of Zaneis on Monday, November 18. The deadly crash took place at the intersection of US-70 and Tribble Road early that morning around 8:30 a.m. A silver car and a pickup truck reportedly collided at the scene.
Emergency responders were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. A passenger in the silver vehicle suffered fatal injuries in the impact. The driver of that car was transported to Ardmore Hospital before being flown to a trauma center for treatment. Two children in the back of the car were also hospitalized, along with the driver of the pickup. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. The identity of the deceased party has been withheld. Local law enforcement officials are managing an ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident.
