Monica J. Hoenshell advises clients on a broad range of legal matters, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and real estate transactions, succession and estate planning, and tax strategy. She counsels business owners and organizations throughout the life cycle of their enterprises—from formation and growth to sale or succession—providing strategic, results-driven legal guidance tailored to each client’s needs.

Monica holds an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law and earned her J.D. with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Oklahoma State University, after attending Phillips University in Enid, where she played basketball and earned All-American honors in track.

Outside the office, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their son, Joey. She is an active member of New Covenant Church, an avid supporter of her son’s athletic pursuits, a dedicated OSU Cowboys fan, and stays active through pickleball, fitness training, and walking her dogs.
